Every year I love to donate to some of my very favorite Benefits, and one of them is the American Heart Association. It is interesting because the last couple of years with the pandemic, it has all been online and silent... so I never know who is going to win until they contact me with their idea for a portrait session!

This year was a lovely couple from Cedar Rapids that recently got engaged and wanted something fun for their engagements! Let me tell you-- I love to do a STORY! 

My ideas come from a mixture of imagination and your likes/dislikes. So in order to get exactly what this couple was looking for, we did some brain-storming. I got into their mutual love for football, and fitness. So because their love story started on the field as she was on the Iowa Women's Football league and HE WAS HER COACH... we did a bit of wrestling in the mud.

It was so much fun and they couldn't be cuter.
